Privacy Policy
Last updated 25 August 2026
This policy explains how MLC Lawyers handles personal information collected through this website. We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
When you complete the quote form we collect:
- Your name, email address and phone number.
- Whether you are buying, selling or transferring, and the property type.
- Technical and marketing information sent by your browser: the page you arrived on, the referring website, your approximate location from your IP address, your browser user agent, and any advertising click identifiers or campaign tags in the link you followed (for example Google's
gclid).
We do not ask for and do not want financial details, identity documents or any sensitive information through this form.
Why we collect it
- To prepare and send your conveyancing quote.
- To contact you about your enquiry.
- To measure which advertising brings genuine enquiries, so we do not waste money advertising to the wrong people.
Who we share it with
Your enquiry goes to an MLC Lawyers conveyancer. We do not sell your details, and we do not distribute your enquiry to a panel of competing firms.
We use these service providers to run the enquiry process:
- Supabase — stores the enquiry record.
- GoHighLevel — our customer relationship system, where our team works your enquiry.
- Google — website analytics and advertising measurement.
- Cloudflare — website hosting and security.
Some of these providers store data outside Australia, including in the United States. We may also disclose information where required by law.
Advertising measurement and cookies
This site uses cookies and similar technologies to understand how visitors use the page and whether advertising is working. That includes Google Analytics and Google Ads conversion measurement.
We measure steps within the quote form — for example how many people reach the property-type question — so we can see where the form is confusing and fix it. This is aggregate measurement about the form, not surveillance of you.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet our legal and professional record-keeping obligations, then delete or de-identify them.
Accessing, correcting or deleting your information
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Call (02) 5503 3113 or visit one of our offices in Cabramatta or Baulkham Hills. We will respond within a reasonable period.
If you are not satisfied with how we handled your request, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
